- If you feel unwell or have broken skin, infection, active acne flare, cold sores or irritation in the treatment area, please reschedule your appointment

Microneedling Aftercare
Your skin may appear red, warm, tight or slightly swollen — similar to mild sunburn. This is normal.
First 24 hours
- Do not touch the treated area unless hands are clean
- Avoid makeup, SPF, retinol, acids or active skincare
- Avoid exercise, sweating, saunas, steam rooms and swimming
- Avoid alcohol
- Avoid sun exposure completely for the first 24 hours
- Do not pick, scratch or rub the skin
- Use a fresh, clean pillowcase for your first night’s sleep after treatment
- This helps prevent bacteria transferring onto the skin while the micro-channels are still open
- Reduces the risk of irritation, breakouts or infection during early healing
24–72 hours
- Cleanse with a gentle, fragrance-free cleanser
- Use only soothing or hydrating products recommended by your practitioner
- Apply SPF daily once advised (usually after 24 hours)
- Continue to avoid heat, direct sun exposure and tanning
- Avoid exfoliation and active ingredients
For 7 days
- Avoid retinol, acids, vitamin C, exfoliants and facial treatments
- Avoid sunbeds and prolonged direct sunlight
- Continue gentle skincare and daily SPF

Expected Healing
Redness: 1–3 days
Mild swelling or sensitivity: up to 48 hours
Dryness or light flaking: 3–5 days
